Ferdinand denies charge of racist

Defender Manchester United (MU), Rio Ferdinand, denied the the FA charge related his "Black Ice" comments which made ​​on a Twitter account.


"Manchester United's center back Rio Ferdinand, today, Thursday (02/08/2012), denied the charges associated with his comments made on Twitter," said FA.

"The allegation is the players had acted in an inappropriate way and break the image of football by writing comments that offend ethnic origin, creed, or race."

The issue of "Black Ice" is begin from the cases of racial harassment, allegedly Chelsea defender John Terry, to the defender Queens Park Rangers (QPR), Anton Ferdinand, on October 23, 2011. Terry declared not guilty by Westminster Magistrates' Court on July 13, 2012.

One of the reasons the court is the testimony of fellow of Terry in Chelsea, Ashley Cole. Cole said that Terry was not a racist.

Several days later, someone wrote "Black Ice" in Twitter account, which allegedly addressed to Cole.

Ferdinand responded by writing, "I hear you guys. Ice Chocolate is a classic."

According to Sky Sports, the term "Black Ice" means "black inside, white outside," and refers to Cole's statement in court.
