City Chase Higuain After Failed Get van Persie

Daily Mail reported, Manchester City are planning to buy Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain. The plan is an alternative step if the City fails to bring Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.

Not easy for the City to get Van Persie, considering they have to compete with Juventus and Manchester United. Van Persie is also rumored to have signed a contract with Juve.

City looked Higuain as the right choice to replace Van Persie. "The Citizens", as reported by the Daily Mail, ready to bid for 35 million pounds to Real Madrid for Higuain.

If Higuain actually landed at Etihad Stadium, the 24 year old striker will join with colleagues in the Argentina national team Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez. This will facilitate Higuain to adapt to English football.
